Goodland -- Odelia Weltz, 90, a former Goodland resident, died Saturday July 19, 1997, in Wichita at the home of her son, Robert Weltz. Mrs. Weltz was born Odelia Rupp on Aug. 23,1906, in Victoria.

She was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Goodland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.R. Weltz, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.

Survivors include her two sons, Cletus of Peyton, Colo., and Robert of Wichita; a daughter, Alice Andra of Wichita; two brothers, Alfred Rupp of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Alex Rupp of Commerce, Colo.; three sisters, Ellie Peters, Christine Billinger and Olive Mclntoch, all of Hays; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Mountain time today at Koons Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Daryl Olmstead officiating. Burial will be in Goodland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Mountain time when a parish rosary will be said at the funeral chapel, 211 N. Main, Goodland, 67735.

Memorials may be made to the church or Hospice Inc. of Wichita.
