Deaths
Albert Truman Courser, 74, for many years an Ionia County resident and recently an employee of Rowe Hotel in Grand Rapids died Thursday morning at 8 o'clock following a stroke suffered at 9 o'clock Wednesday night. He had been in good health until stricken.
Mr. Courser died at the home of his son, Olen, at Bereford Street Ionia. Born October 6 1863 in Orange Township the son of Mr. And Mrs. Ira Courser, he attended the Kilmartin School. For a short time he lived in Carson City, later moving to Ionia City where he was employed at the Ypsilanti Reed furniture factory for more than 15 years. He moved to Grand Rapids about 10 years ago where he lived until slightly less than two years ago.
He was married to Miss Alice Mull of Ohio, in Montcalm County December 24 1874. Mrs. Courser died in 1930.
Surviving are four sons, Olen of Ionia, Howard of Hastings, Chester and Harold of Grand Rapids, brother Delbert of Plains, Montana, a niece Mrs. Jennie Wizel of Boise, Idaho, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
