ANNIE BARDWELL

Annie Woods was born on Nov. 4, 1817, in Bird township, Boone county, Ohio, and died June 8, 1899, aged 81 years, 7 months, 4 days.

When she was quite young her parents moved to the state of Indiana, she accompanying them. They settled there near the Wabash river, where she was united in marriage with Peras Bardwell, who preceded her to the better land in 1877.

Three children were born to them, two daughters and one son, two of whom survive her, Larina Mullen and Peras Bardwell. One daughter, Mary Luce, died Oct. 30, 1884.

The deceased united with the M. E. church in 1860, and remained a consistent member of that church up to her death. She was an affectionate wife, a loving mother, and a kind friend. She was loved by all who knew her, for to know her was to love her.

Interment took place the following day in the Last Chance cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. W. E. Harvey
