Funeral services for Arthur Reeder, Greenup who passed away at the St. Anthony Hospital, Terre Haute at 4:45 a.m. February 3, will be conducted from the Pleasant Valley Church, Wednesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Dale J. Doolen will officiate with interment in the Greenup Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Markwell Funeral Home in Casey until noon Wednesday.
Mr. Reeder was born September 11, 1878 in Missouri. He had been ill for several months and was taken to the hospital Saturday night.
Surviving are his wife Pearl; three sons, Harold of Greenup, Doris of Lima, Ohio, and Dale of Casey; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Underwood of Robinson; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Brook and Mrs. Fannie Bancroft of Greenup; his 97 year old mother Mrs. Christine Reeder of Greenup; eight grandchildren and 10 gr-grandchildren.
