Fidencio Flores, Sr., 77, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 in a Corpus Christi hospital. He was born on November 16, 1928 in Robstown, Texas to Margarito and Teodora Martinez Flores. Fidencio was a cell inspector for 37 years with ASARCO, a custodian with the Robstown Independent School District, a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas, and a life long resident of Robstown who will be missed by all his family and friends.

He goes home to the Lord to reunite with his daughter, Lydia Flores Lopez who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Santos Flores of Robstown, Texas; his four sons: Fidencio (Gloria) Flores Jr., Victor Flores both of Robstown, Texas, Hector (Vangie) Flores of Corpus Christi, Texas, Rudy (Rachel) Flores of Buda, Texas; his son-in-law, Santiago "Chago" (The Late Lydia Flores Lopez) Lopez, Jr. of Robstown, Texas; his four brothers: Juan Flores, Alvino Flores, Carlos Flores, and Alejandro Flores all of Robstown, Texas; his three sisters: Odilia Ovalle, Christina Cabello, Elva Silva all of Robstown, Texas. He will be missed by his eleven grandchildren: Imelda Luna, Jose Santiago Lopez, III, Paul Flores, Adriana Thompson, Aurora Flores, Janette Flores, Juan Jose Flores, Melissa Flores, Celina Flores, Rudy Flores, Jr., Alexis Raquel Flores; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Rosary was recited Aug. 31 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral mass was celebrated Sept. 1 at St. Athony's Catholic Church in Robstown. Entombment followed in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
