Edgar Theune, 65, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at his home.
Born in Kassel, Germany, he was the son of the late Hans Gerhard Daniel Theune and Erica Eckhardt Theune Zepmeisel. He grew up in Suffolk County, Yaphank, NY and was a retired contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Christine L. Theune; son, Ethan Theune; daughter, Valerie Theune Ochs; brother, Eric Theune; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, December 5, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979 or the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
