BEER—At Mossburn, on the 30th May, 1901, after a long illness, George, beloved husband of Tryphena Beer, aged 61 years. The funeral will leave Mossburn about 11 a.m on Monday, 3rd June, reaching the Lumsden Anglican Church at 2 p.m and leaving there for the Lumsden Cemetery at 2.30 p.m. Kingsland & Ferguson, Undertakers.

An old and respected resident of our district passed away last Friday morning, in the person of Mr George Beer, Mossburn, who had been ailing for some considerable time. Deceased's strong constitution kept him going long beyond the expectations of his medical attendant, and of his nearest relations. The funeral takes place on Monday, the 3rd, at the Lumsden Cemetery.
