Our beautiful sister, mother, grandmother, aunt & friend passed away May 15, 2013.
Donna fouqht a valiant battle with the cancer that finally consumed her body. She is now being comforted by her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Born in Salt Lake City to C. Deloy and Katherine Reid she was the baby of a large family. We all loved and cared for her very much.
After graduating from South High School Donna went to work for National Car Rental where she met & married Verl Beck, they were blessed with two children Anne & Blair. They were later divorced.
Donna moved to Vancouver, Wa. to be with sister Joann and husband Patrick Stone. There she helped Joann whose health was failing, then became ill herself. She loved being with Joann, Pat and Steven their son and a very close bond was formed.
While Donna was ill our niece Jennifer would become a wonderful friend and helpmate to her.
Donna was preceded in death by parents, brother Tom, sister Ernestine, nephews Terry Whetman and Robert Wright, brother-in-law Leslie White. Survived by daughter Anne (Mike) Turner, son Blair Beck, her grandchildren whom she loved so much, Andrew, Mark, Kevin and Sadie Turner. Siblings Lee (Lou), Arline (Cal) Gillen, Kathy (Bob) Wright, Joann (Pat) Stone, Geri White, John Reid and many nieces and nephews.
Donna requested a private family gathering in Lincoln City, Oregon, a favorite place.
