Aged Resident Passes Away
Rosary was held Sunday evening, August 28, 1949 at the Chapel of the O'Donnell Funeral Home for Juan Vallejos who passed away at the age of 84. Mr. Vallejos was born in New Mexico on June 8, 1865 and died at his home at 112 Clark street last Friday. He was a resident of Barstow for the past 23 years, having worked for the Santa Fe railroad most of that time. Surviving Mr Vallejos is his wife, Maria Vallejos and four sons: Bob Vallejos of Los Angeles, Ralph Vallejos of Winslow, Arizona, Andre W Vallejos and Raquel Quezada both of Barstow.
Mass was held at nine am August 29 at the St. Joseph's Church with Father Harris in charge. Interment followed at the Mountain View Cemetery at Barstow.
The O'Donnell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
