Mrs. Joseph Houda, 45, Dies at Cicero, Illinois
Mrs. Joseph Houda, 45, formerly a resident of this county, died Saturday at her home in Cicero, Ill. She has been ill for several months.
The body is to be brought to Melnik, where funeral services will be held from the Melnik Presbyterian church at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Born Anne Duschek in Czechoslovakia in 1889, she came to this country with her parents when a child. They located on a farm at Melnik. In later years she located at Chicago and was married there in 1912 to Joseph Houda. Twelve years ago they moved to Cicero.
Survivors are her husband, mother, Mrs. Barbara Dushek, daughter Irene Anne, a brother Miloslav Dushek of Maribel and a sister, Mrs William. Loeffler of Berwyn, Ill.
