Dorothy Lingerfelt Mann, 81, of Liberty, loving wife of 46 years to Billy “Sonny” Mann, died Monday, December 21, 2015.
Born in Pickens, she was a daughter of the late Stokes and Mary Moody Lingerfelt.
Dorothy was a member of Winding Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by one daughter, Virgie Anders; two sons, William Harris, and Bill N. Mann; one brother, Joe Stokes Lingerfelt; raised Dottie Hammett and Dennis F. Mann; 13 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Theresa Mann; one son, Russell D. Mann; and two sisters.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 24, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Northwest chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.
