Joseph Fidler, 74, of Milladore Dies

Funeral Services Will be Held at Manitowoc on Saturday, Feb. 4


Milladore, Feb. (Special) – Funeral services for Joseph Fidler, 47, will be held at Manitowoc Saturday under the auspices of the Z. C. B. J. lodge, and burial will be made there.

Mr. Fidler died Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph's hospital, where he had been receiving treatment for tumor the past three weeks.

Deceased was born at Cooperstown, this state, Nov. 8, 1885, and lived in that community until about 10 years ago, when he moved to a farm on route 2, Milladore. He was married Oct. 29, 1911, to Miss Ela Shimon at Cooperstown.

He is survived by his widow, his mother, Mrs. Anna Fidler, Maribel; nine children, Marcella, Eleanor, Mary, Helen, Rose, Viola, Edward, Harvey, and Walter; four sisters, Mrs. Emil Petska, Manitowoc; Mrs. J. W. Kubichek, Manitowoc; Mrs. Frank Kvitek, Maribel; and Mrs. Charles Hoppe, Milwaukee; three brothers, Frank, Manitowoc; Adolph, Manitowoc; and John, in Alabama.

Mr. Fidler was a member of the Z. C. B. J. lodge, a Bohemian organization.

Milladore – Funeral services for Joseph Fidler, 47, will be held at Manitowoc Saturday under the auspices of the Bohemian Z. C. B. J. lodge of Rosecrans and burial will be made there.

Mr. Fidler died Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph's hospital at Marshfield where he underwent a serious operation two weeks ago.

Deceased was born at Cooperstown, November 8, 1885. On October 29, 1911 he married Miss Ella Shimon and they lived at Maribel, Wis. For twelve years, moving to a farm on Route 2, Milladore.

He is survived by his widow, his mother, Mrs. Anna Fidler, Maribel; nine children, Marcella, Eleanor, Mary, Helen, Rose, Viola, Edward, Harvey, and Walter; four sisters, Mrs. Emil Petska, Manitowoc; Mrs. J. W. Kubichek, Manitowoc; Mrs. Frank Kvitek, Maribel; and Mrs. Charles Hoppe, Milwaukee; three brothers, Frank and Adolph, Manitowoc and John of Silver Hill, Alabama.

Mr. Fidler was a member of the Z. C. B. J. lodge, a Bohemian organization.
