The many friends of the family were pained to hear of the death of Mrs. J.A. Sheffield Sr., which occurred very suddenly at her home in this city Tuesday evening about 9:30. Deceased had been a sufferer from heart trouble for several years but during the afternoon and evening of her death she had appeared to be feeling better than usual and it was indeed a shock to our citizens when they heard of her death. She had been a resident of Bentonville for many years and numbered her friends by the score. At the time of her death, Mrs. Sheffield was 67 years, 10 months, and 29 days of age. She leaves her husband and several children and grandchildren, besides a host of friends to mourn for her.
