Mr. Alfonzo Bethea, 74, of 137 S. University Street, widower of Cornella Stevens Bethea, died on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at his home. Born in Lexington, SC, he was the son of the late William Morris Summers and the late Theda Strother Bethea. He was preceded in death by a sister, Amelia Geiger. He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons,...seven sisters,...six grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc., conducted by Rev. Spencer Davis. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
