MARTIN--Alwena Martin, age 66, of 615 York, passed away at a local hospital Thursday, April 5, following a brief illness. Mrs. Martin had been a resident of Bellingham for about 44 years. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Neighbors of Woodcraft and Royal Neighbors. Surviving relatives include her husband, Otto L.; a daughter, Mrs. Henry Brandt; a sister, Mrs. Emma Keller and four granddaughters, Barbara, Donna, Sharon and Karen Brandt, and grandson, Henry Brandt, all of Bellingham. Services will be conducted Saturday, April 7, at 2 p.m. within the Chapel of the Bingham-Dahlquist & Jerns Funeral Home with the Rev. E. M. Butenshon officiating. Cremation.
