MRS. FAULKNER DIES AFTER A BRIEF ILLNESS

Mrs. Adeline Faulkner, colored, wife of David Faulkner, died at the home at 746 north Columbia street, about 9 o'clock Sunday night after a very brief illness, aged 34years and four months. Mrs. Faulkner had been in excellent health until Thursday when she was taken ill and forced to take to her bed. Her condition slowly became worse until death resulted last night. For a number of years Mrs. Faulkner had been employed in doing housework at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Brown on north Walnut street.
The deceased was born in Alabama but had made her home in Brazil for a number of years and leaves many friends here. She was a faithful member of the Second Baptist Church of this city.
The survivors are the husband, a son and daughter, Robert and Frances, at home; also three brothers and four sisters, James, Willis and Gilliford Bryant, Mrs. Lillian Moseley, Mrs. Rosa Ganes and Misses Lucille and Lucy Bryant.
Funeral services will be held at the Second Baptist church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Franklin officiating. Interment Cottage Hill Cemetery.
