Mr. John Stenhouse Died Thursday After Several Days Sickness

The death occurred early Thursday morning of Mr. John Stenhouse, at the Drumheller hospital, after a few days illness from pleurisy and pneumonia. Deceased was engaged at the hospital for some twelve months, acting as engineer. Mr. Stenhouse had been a resident in Drumheller for some eleven years, and took an active part in soccer, being responsible for the organization of a junior team, which met with considerable success several years ago.

He leaves to mourn his loss, one son, George; mother, Mrs. M Stenhouse; four brothers, Jim, Harry and Bill, (Calgary), and George, residing at Bathgate, Scotland; four sisters, Mrs. Dave Dickson, Drumheller; Mrs. Chapman, Calgary; Mrs. H. Carson, Saskatoon; Mrs. Tait, Detroit, Mich.

Deceased was in his fifty-second year, and had resided in Drumheller since leaving Bathgate, Scotland, at which place he was born.

The funeral service will take place from Knox Church on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, after which interment will be at the Drumheller cemetery. The Drumheller Masonic lodge will assist at the last sad rites.
