James Gordon Dvorak

James Gordon Dvorak, 40, rural Reedsville, died Thursday afternoon, July 2, 1992 in Iowa County following a traffic accident with his truck. He was born April 12, 1952 in Manitowoc to Arthur and Honora (Hayden) Dvorak. He attended St. Michael School, Whitelaw, and was a 1970 graduate of Reedsville High School. Jim was a self-employed owner-operator of Jim Dvorak Trucking.

He married Candance (Behnke) Dvorak June 5, 1976 at Valders. He was a member of Clarks Mills Sportsman Club, the Timber Producers Association and Faith Lutheran Church, serving on the church council.

Survivors include his wife Candy; one son Daniel, at home; three daughters, Angela, at home; Amy, Phoenix, Ariz.; Karen, at home; his mother Honora, Whitelaw, two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Joannie, Manitowoc; David and Jane, Green Bay; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Allan Wallander, Saugus, Calif.; Nancy and Paul Rameker, Fond du Lac; Janet and Tom Korinek, rural Cato; other brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marge Behnke, Kansas; Verlin and Jan Behnke, Sheboygan; Dennis and Joan Behnke, Green Bay; Dolores and John Schmieder, Crandon; Dorene and Lloyd Beuchel, Chilton; Lilas and John Rosinsky, Manitowoc; Rochelle and Donald Zahorik, Reedsville; three special employees, David Rohr, Richard Rathsack and Mark Sukowaty; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 6, 1992 at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders, with the Revs. Carl C. Peters and Mark Gould officiating. Burial in Valders West Cemetery. The Christian-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, is serving the family.
