Edna Kersey Brinson, 79, of Interlachen, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, in Gainesville.
A homemaker, she was born in Punta Gorda.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Callie Kersey; her husband of 59 years, Clarence E. Brinson and son, Donald Clarence Brinson, eight brothers and three sisters.
Survivors are her children, Nancy Jane Brinson of Indianapolis, Ind., Stephen Orville Brinson of Interlachen, Rebecca Louise Brinson Condiff of Indianapolis, Edna Clara Brinson Belec of Lincolnton, Ga., Duane Allen Brinson of Milltown, Ind., Donna Joan Brinson Griffin of Greenfield, Ind., Clinton Edward Brinson and Sherry Lynn Brinson, both of Interlachen, and Milton Thomas Brinson of Hawthorne; sister, Pency Viola Collins of Lyons, Ga.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Watts Funeral Home Chapel, in San Mateo, with Rev. Alfred Johns as officiant. Interment will follow at Pine Lawn Cemetery in Mannville. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 20 Sep 2005.)
