He was born on Thursday, 01 August 1929 in San Diego, California and was the son of Lee Conger and Thelma Lee (Ellis) Conger.
Don graduated from USC in 1952.
He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged as Sergeant First Class and was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Reserve.
Don worked in the Aerospace Industry utilizing his finance degree.
After retiring from Aerospace he chose to invest in R.E. with his brother Lin. They built the Twin Dolphin Hotel in Morro Bay, Calif.
Mr. Conger is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Joyce (Krehbiel) Conger; children: Lori Conger, Gary Conger and Linda (Conger) Marvin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Conger and Thelma Lee (Ellis) Conger, brother, Lin Conger.
