BOONEVILLE - DIED - January 21, 1898, Mrs. Susanah Boone, aged 83 years, 11 months and 23 days. Susanah Farnsley was born Jan. 28, 1814 and was married to William D. Boone, October 10th, 1832, hear New Albany, Indiana. They with their family moved to Iowa in the fall of 1847. Her husband, Wm. D. Boone, died on the 14th day of Jan. 1855, leaving her a widow with nine children of whom two sons and five daughters survive her. She lived a member of the Methodist church for 56 years. The funeral was attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends last Wednesday who met to pay their last tribute of respect to one who was loved by all who knew her. Rev. Franklin officiated at the services from the fact that he was an old friend of the family. He was ably assisted by Rev. J. H. Elliott.
