He came to the United States in 1901 and settled at Watsonville, moving to Korbel in 1909 and Arcata in 1936. He worked as a truck gardener in all those places.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Bertolini of Arcata; a daughter, Miss Mary Bertolini of Arcata; a son, Elio Bertolini of Eureka; and a sister, Mrs. G. Sabatini of Alameda.
The rosary will be said Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Chapel of the Redwoods in Arcata. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the chapel with Mass at 10 o'clock at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Eureka.
