The Late Mrs. Anna Hayward
Mrs, Anna Hayward of 91 Charles street died on Wednesday at 8:30 o'clock, following a stroke of paralysis. She formerly resided in the northern section of this city and she was highly respected by all for her sterling character and genial disposition. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Albert Kropp and Francis Hayward, and one son, Alfred, with the U. S. Army in France. A sad feature of her death was that while she was unconscious a card was received from her son Alfred stating that he had arrived overseas. The deceased is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Philip Thomas, Mrs. Richard Edwards, Arthur, George, Barry and Charles Brown, all of Parsons; also one brother, Elmer, in France. The funeral will he held from her late home Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Interment in Mt. Greenwood Cemetery.
