Clarine Brimer Akridge, 80, of Nacogdoches, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016, in Nacogdoches. Her funeral service will be held at Watson & Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in San Augustine County.
Ms. Akridge was born March 16, 1935, in the Zavalla Community of Angelina County, to Earl Brimer and Margaret Jones Brimer.
In 1949, she married Virgil E. Akridge. Together, they raised nine children. Ms. Akridge loved her family and friends. Her favorite pastimes included playing Bingo and gardening.
She is survived by -

Pat King and husband, Floyd
Margaret Teets and husband, Ronnie

Harlan Akridge and wife, Terrie
