She graduated from Pulaski High School in Milwaukee in 1960. She attended Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee for two years studying psychology.
On May 17, 1975, Carol married Wenceslaus Nowak in Wauwatosa.
She had worked for the Eaton Corporation in Milwaukee for 30 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Crivitz, Red Hat Society, and attended Bunny Peplinski's Art Painting Classes. Carol loved spending time with her family, her dog and the farm animals. She also enjoyed painting, the outdoors and cold beer and wine. Carol will be remembered for always putting others first and no one ever having to wonder what was on her mind, she was always willing to share her thoughts.
Carol is survived by her husband of 40 years, Wenceslaus;
a son, Paul of Crivitz;
a daughter, Denise (Michael) Ascher of Marinette, WI;
three grandchildren: Paige, Kaitlyn, and Caleb;
sister, Doris (Thomas) Middlebrooks of Jefferson, WI;
nieces and nephews: Audrey Sabitini, Anthony and April Middlebrooks, Paul and Laurie Grooms and families.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dwayne.
Friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic in Crivitz on Saturday January 2nd from 10am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am with Reverend Len Evers and Deacon Jerome Thetreau officiating.
