Clarice Gowanlock Augspurger, wife of Charles E. Augspurger, died Mon., May 24, 2004 at her home. Born in Shreveport, LA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Y. and Ruby Baggett Gowanlock. Surviving besides her husband, are her two daughters, Janet [Larry] Isenhour and Susan [Ted] Renaker and her four grandchildren, Ben [Cindy] Isenhour, Celia [Mason] Dyer, Sarah [John] Sims, and Elizabeth Young, and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothea Gowanlock. She was much loved by her family and she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She and her husband Charles E. Augspurger founded and owned Bluegrass Butane Company. Private graveside services in the Lexington Cemetery, Fri., conducted by Rev. Dr. Al Gwinn and Rev. Dr. William R. Jennings. Visitation 4-7 pm Thurs. at the W.R.Milward Mortuary-Broadway.
