Alice "Shug" Hagerty,83,of Radcliff, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 15, 2016, at the Holzer Medical Center ER in Jackson. She was born Feburary 22, 1932 in Jackson County to the late John C. Spearry and Lucy E.Argabright Spearry.

Alice was a loving housewife and homemaker who enjoyed her animals, especially the birds and her dogs. She was a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Zaleski. Alice is survived by her husband of 67 years, John L. "Jack" Hagerty; children Diane Sheaffer (Jim) of Radcliff, Mike Hagerty (Betty) of Radcliff, Debbie Rupert (Jim) of Wilkesville; nine grandchildren 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Jody Woltz; sister Geraldine Mckenzie; and brothers, Kenneth Spearry and Donald Spearry. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-8p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston, where a Rosary service be held at 8p.m. Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 11a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral home, with Father Donald Maroon officiating. Burial will follow in the Radcliff Cemetery.
