Obituary of James W Poole

Jim Poole a Wewoka resident passed away in the Seminole Hospital on October 25 2002. Jim was born March 30 1920 in Placios, Texas to Albert L Poole and Walsie Lou Belford Poole.
He graduated from old Butner School in 1938. He married Lucille Bray on April 12 1938 in Ft. Smith Arkansas.

Jim and Lucille farmed in Seminole County and Jim later worked as a dozer operator for Vic Fronterhouse. After service in the U.S. Army during WWII Jim returned home and worked in the Bull Pasture and for Continental Oil Company until 1964. Jim owned and operated the Poole Furniture and Hardware store in Wewoka until 1975. Jim retired from Seminole County in 1986.

His wife Lucille Poole of the home

Three Children: Jerry Wayne Poole of Woodward, OK
Lynda Lou Holsten of Eufaula, OK
Mary Ann Chambers of Holdenville, OK

One Brother: Bob Poole of Houston, TX
One Sister: Jean Good of Seminole, OK

Five Grandchildren: Keven Poole, Keith Poole, Kellie Poole, Connie Andrews, Justin Chambers

Six Great Grandchildren: Angela, Shawn, Patrick, Melanie, Cassandra and Tyler.
