Lucille G. Poole-Stafford, 95, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was born on December 6, 1920 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Robert C. and Tennessee L. (Hill) Bray.

Lucille was a graduate of Butner Schools and worked many years as a bookkeeper. She was of the Baptist faith and her hobbies were gardening, working in the yard, and tending to her flowers.

Preceding Lucille in death are her parents, husband; Jim W. Poole, four brothers, and two sisters, one great-grandchild, one great-great grandchild, and second husband; Hayes Stafford.

Survivors include children; Jerry W. Poole and wife Voncille of Woodward, OK, Lynda Holsten and husband David of Eufaula, OK, Mary Ann Chambers and husband Wayne of Holdenville, OK, grandchildren; Kevin Poole, Keith Poole and wife Melissa, Kellie Shaw and husband Paul, Connie Chambers, Justin Chambers and Kristal Chambers, great-grandchildren; Angela, Shawn, Cassie, Tyler, Makayla, and Jax, great-great grandchildren; Kale, Keeton and Zaylee.

Pall bearers will be Justin Chambers, Mike Good, Keith Poole, and Tyler Velin.
Honorary pall bearers will be Ronnie Good, David Holsten, Wayne Chambers, and Randy Bray.

Thanks to the Staff of Heritage Village Nursing Center for the care she was given during her time there.

Funeral service will be 11AM Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Matt Wyatt officiating and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
