Ella (Battle) Bandy was born on June 2, 1882 in Tennessee, the daughter of Jack Battle and Harriet (Shannon) Battle.
She was married sometime after the 1920 census and before the 1930 census to Correy Bandy (ca 1881-1928): The son of Jack Bandy, he was a brick mason. Living at 804 Main Street, Nashville, he was about 46 years old when his badly mangled body was found on May 26, 1928 near the railroad tracks where they cross Foster Street. Burial was at Lugardo, Tennessee, wherever that is.
A maid and living at 1310 Brick Church Road on Rural Route 3 out of Nashville, Ella was 57 years old and a widow when she died at home on August 13, 1939 of valvular heart disease. Burial was two days later in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashville.
Most of the above is from her Death Certificate, with Mrs Jennie Eddings of 1310 Brick Church Road as the informant.
