Funeral service for Rita M. Pittman, 66, of Central High will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Douglas Dalrymple officiating.
Mrs. Pittman passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 in Duncan.
Burial will be at Walters Cemetery, Walters, Oklahoma.
There will be a special viewing and visitation for family and friends on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rita May (Dalrymple) Pittman, was born in Fletcher July 29, 1949, to Rosa and Owen Dalrymple. She attended several schools in and around Lawton, Including Lawton High. She lived in the Tampa Bay area during the 1970βs and moved back to Lawton in the 1980βs.
She started working for Metro Airlines in 1985, where she met the love of her life, Chris. They were married in 1995, and spent their entire married life in the Central High community. They traveled extensively over the years and especially loved fishing and camping in Colorado together. She was fond of animals, especially cats and dogs, and enjoyed bird watching.
She is survived by her husband, Chris of the home; her son Michael Owen Keith, Richardson, TX; Brother, Mark Dalrymple, Rush Springs, OK, Brother, Clarence and wife Dorothy Dalrymple, Lawton, OK, Sister, Mona Faye and husband Phillip Archer, Lawton, OK, Brother, Robert and wife Jessie Dalrymple, Rush Springs, OK, Brother, Clifton and Jannis Dalrymple, Land O Lakes, FL, Brother, George and wife Amanda Daily, Texarkana, TX, Brother, Douglas and wife Susan Dalrymple, Coweta, OK, Sister, Irene Barrow, Tampa, FL, Sister, Linda Kay and husband Donald Warkentien, Earlsboro, OK, Brother, Michael and wife Melinda Dalrymple, Lawton, OK, and Brother, Danny and wife Patty Dalrymple, Auburndale, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
