Emilio Bonini was my paternal grandfather. Age 88, of Sassuolo (MO), Emilia-Romagna, he passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Sassuolo New Hospital. Born on Friday, January 20, 1928 in San Michele dei Mucchietti, frazione of Sassuolo (MO), he was the son of the late Giuseppe Bonini and Balbina Galli. He loved working in his small vegetables garden and playing Briscola with his friends. He married Maria Manfredini on August 7, 1954 in Casalgrande (RE).
He was preceded in death by his little daughter Deanna; parents; two brothers, Luigi and Agostino; sister Irene (Paolo).
Survived by his wife Maria; two children, Celestina (Giacomo) and Marco (Paola); three grandsons; two brothers, Carlo (Lidia) and Tonino (Novella); sister-in-law Adele; nephews and nieces; all families and friends.
Funeral Services were held on Friday, Februray 5, 2016 at Sant'Antonio da Padova Church, Sassuolo. Mass was celebrated by Don Giovanni Rossi; interment at Sassuolo New Cemetery; arrangements were by Onoranze Funebri Teggi, Fiorano Modenese (MO).
