WILLIAM "BILL" LEROY PEACH
April 7, 1936 - July 25, 2015

William "Bill" Leroy Peach, Stockton, passed away Saturday, July 25,2015, at the age of 79 years, 3 months, and 18 days at Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility. Bill was surrounded by his surviving siblings.

Bill was born April 7, 1936, to Russell and Glenice Peach. At age 14, the family moved to Waterloo, Iowa. During his time in Iowa, he met Deanna Dee Moritz, who he married in 1955. From this union, they were blessed with a daughter, Cheryl Louise; and a son, William Leroy Peach Jr. Bill was married to Peggy Stephenson and helped raise two step children, Rick Larson of Stockton and Julie Schloemer of Waterloo, Iowa; and their children, Rodney Larson of Locust Grove, Virginia, Lynnette Larson of Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and William Wesley Schloemer of Waterloo, Iowa.

Bill worked several years for John Deere and Cedar Valley Tree Service in Waterloo. After returning to Stockton, he was employed by the city of Stockton, and later worked with his brother, Lee, in the construction industry for many years.

His favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting and fish fries with his many friends. He enjoyed nothing better than sitting around with his friends and family, swapping stories, laughing and a cold beer.

Bill's survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Louise Huntington and husband Owen of High Springs, Florida, and their children, Curtis Rhoads and wife Myra Lee of Van West, Ohio, Leonard Kaalberg and wife Leanne of Moline, Illinois, Linda Deminico and husband Patrick of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Leslie Huntington of Bradenton, Florida; a son, William "Billy" Leroy Peach Jr. and wife Tina of Bronson, Florida, and their children, William Leroy Peach III of Tripoli, Iowa, Shelby Lynn Keene of Bronson, Florida, and Joseph Robert Keene Jr. of Wildwood, Florida; a brother, Russell Leland and wife Brenda of Cartersville; four sisters, Elvena Joe Warner of Stockton, Ella Mae Markel and husband John of Springfield, Idella LaRocca of Stockton and Sharon Kay Norman and Wendell McHenry of Springfield; and his children, step-children, grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and too many nieces and nephews to list.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jessie Florene Stillions; and two brothers-in-law, Samual T. LaRocca and Bill Warner.

Visitation is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 31, in the Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton, Mo. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. in the Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton. There is a family gathering with refreshments and food following the services in the basement of the Stockton Community building.
