Maggie belonged to my Mother & Father, Danalee & Robert Saar. They got her when they lived in Gay, Georgia. My sister was so taken with her that she got a litter-mate sister to Maggie, named Molly. Maggie was a wonderful dog but possibly had some breeding problems as she was put to sleep because she had become somewhat mean and had turned on my Mom a couple of times. Mother and I lived together and I tried desperately to come up with an alternative but at every turn, breeders, veterinarian, rescue organizations and anyone else that would give an opinion, it came back "a 6 year old, spayed female that has turned on humans needs to be put-down". It was a very sad night but in respect to my Mother, I finally agreed. I loved her so much.
