Mary Jane (Buzzard) Lingler, 78, of 625 Liberty Street, Franklin died Thursday, June 1, 2000 at The Caring Place. She was born Jan. 20, 1922 in Templeton to Wendell and Elizabeth (Schall) Buzzard. Mrs. Lingler was employed as a seamstress for Miller Equipment. Her memberships included the Ladies of the Moose. Her hobbies were playing bingo and going to casinos. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Sally) Bean of Franklin and Mrs. George (Bonnie) Boguslawski of Ford City; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Dewey G. Buzzard of Templeton and Wendell Allen Buzzard of Mahoning; two sisters, Mrs. John (Winnie) Miles of Saint James Island, FL and Mrs. Arnold (Marcella) Wible of Fort Myers, FL and her companion, Earl King of Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond E. Lingler whom she married May 10, 1939 and who died June 11, 1985; two brothers Brady and Sherman Buzzard; one sister Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Bowser and one great grandson, Michael Severo. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. Brian Covert, pastor of the Canal Wesleyan Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place in the Cochran Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Armstrong County.
