Raymond E. Lingler, 70, of 625 Liberty St., Franklin, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 1985 in Franklin Regional Medical Center.

Born in Mahoning on Sept. 14, 1914, he was a son of Henry E. and Anna Jane (Nolder) Lingler. He married the former Mary Jane buzzard on May 10, 1939.

A member of the Franklin Eagle and Moose Clubs, he retired from Joy Manufacturing Company in Franklin after 34 years service.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Sally) Bean of Franklin and Mrs. George (Bonnie) Boguslawski of Ford City; eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held June 13, 1985 at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, Franklin with Rev. Glenn Beatty, pastor of the First Church of God officiating. Burial will be in the Cochran Cemetery, Armstrong County.
