Died.- At the Green County Hospital, April 14th, Mrs. Regina Wiegele, wife of Mr. Joseph Wiegele of Iron Creek Valley. She was born in 1821 at Nussbach, Baden, and came to America in 1854 with her husband. In 1862 they settled in Iron Creek Valley on the farm still owned by her husband. There they lived in peace and happiness until about four years ago, when she suffered a mental shock from the effects of which she never recovered. She was treated at Mendota until within a few months, when she was removed to the above asylum. She was highly respected and loved by all who knew her, which was proved by the large attendance at her funeral, which took place here Saturday. The ceremonies were conducted by Rev. Hackner.
She leaves a husband and four grown children to mourn her death.[Charles and Louis Wiegele, Mrs William (Louisa) Rossow, and Mrs Oliver (Mary) McQuiston]
