CURRAN, William Edward Age 75 of Grand Island, FL passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. He was born in Hamilton, OH on July 8, 1940 to Frank and Mae (Singleton) Curran. Ed leaves behind his wife and best friend, Joyce (Miller) Curran. He is also survived by his sisters, Doris (Bob) McGuire and Judy Curran. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Bob, James, and Jean Curran. Ed also leaves behind many loving family members: Betty (Shelby) Martin; Doug (Beverly) Miller; Ciel Curran; Jenny (George) Phillips; Steve (Patricia) Martin; Cindy (Mike) Maloney; Jack (Suzanne) Apwisch; Derek Miller; George & Matt Phillips; Kelly and Connor Maloney; Jeffrey and Kristina Apwisch; Michael Myers; Curtis, Craig, and Chris Curran; and Jana McGuire. Ed enjoyed his many years in the horse business. His favorite times were spent training and racing Standardbred horses. Along with his passion for horses, he spent many years in the banking industry. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, OH on Thursday, February 11, 2016 with vistation from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 12 PM. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com
