She was born in Erie on July 22, 1922, the daughter of the late George and Emma Grossholz Stork.
Catherine graduated from Fairview High School and was a homemaker.
She was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church in Fairview.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband Richard F. Alday in 2005, and her twin brother, Frederick Stork.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret E. Yates of Cranberry, PA; two grandchildren, Robert Yates and his wife Kristi of WV, and John Yates and his wife Dawn of Sycamore, PA; and three great grandchildren, India and Wyatt Yates of WV, and Jacob Yates and his wife Ashley of NY.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home 525 Main Street East, Girard, Pa 16417 on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church 6851 Old Ridge Road, Fairview, PA 16415.
