Lucinda Smith Adams was my GGG Grandmother. Family legend was that she was the niece or great niece of First Lady Abigail Adams but that has never been verified. During my genealogy research, I have not been able to find any information about Lucinda prior to her marriage to James Jasper Adams. She was the mother of 19 children. According to Patricia Horne, who very kindly went for the adventure of finding this cemetery, it is in really bad condition. Headstones are broken and half buried in mud. Some are scattered and one headstone was lying in the middle of the street. People are also dumping trash in it.
