Mrs. Mary Clayton Embree, 93, of Evanston died at the Evanston Hospital on Tuesday, May 29. She was born in Wisconsin on December 6, 1857. Widow of the late Jesse R. Embree, she is survived by a son, Clayton J. Embree of Quarrysville, Pa., two daughters, Mrs. Benjamin F. Lewis Jr. of Wilmette and Mrs. Donald Scott of Short Hills, N.J., seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late James R. Embree. Burial was at Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago.
