Born to Campbell and Ada Barker, she attended schools in Chico, graduating Chico High Class of 1941. She married Ralph Parsons in 1945 and they spent the next 12 years in New York. Ralph passed away in 1958 and Reba returned to Chico, where she lived the rest of her life. Reba was a very talented woman. She loved to play the piano and very much loved music, writing poetry, cooking and sewing.
