King Sancho II of Pamplona and Count of Aragon, born about 938 AD & died 994 AD.
Son of García Sánchez I, King of Pamplona and Andregoto Galíndez.

His rule was marked by medieval Spain's struggles between Christian Catholics and Moors who had arrived on the Iberian peninsula a couple of centuries earlier.

After his death in 994 he was buried in San Estebán de Monjardín and later moved to the Monastery of San Juan de la Peña.
