Carol Ann Bowers daughter of George Thomas and Nannie Bern Monroe Kemple was born October 9, 1947 in Linn, Missouri. She passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in her home, Camdenton, Missouri. She suffered from COPD and lost the final fight after a long, courageous battle. At the time of her passing she was sixty-nine years, four months and twenty days old.

She was united in marriage to her beloved soul-mate, Dean Bowers and they spent many happy years together until his death.

Carol was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Glen; two sisters, Mary and Marjie and a stepson, Tim.

Survivors include, three sisters, Nancy, Virginia and Vivian; three children, Dee and husband Jeffrey, Dan and Melissa; six grandchildren, Ashley, Joe, Cory, Cortney, Laci and Autumn; six great-grandchildren, Sam, Adrian, Ryder, Ryatt, Brayden and Rowan. She was also stepmom to three boys, Chopper, Andrew and Shaun and grandma to their children whom she loved as their own.

Carol lived a long and happy life doing what she wanted, when she felt like it and doing it her way – whether it was Bingo with bestie, Dar or garage sales.

Carol loved and touched many and is missed greatly by those she touched in life.

Carol was cremated and her ashes to be scattered on her parents’ graves and contained in lockets made for family members.
