Mrs. Bertha Violet Boshears, 66, of the Alder Springs Community in LaFollette, died Sunday.

Survivors are husband, Millard Boshears; daughters, Mrs. Florene Ford, Mrs. Florida Moor, Mrs. Fontella Napier, Scottsburg, Ind., Mrs. Flossie Robbins of Butlerville, Ind., Mrs. Fay Ingram of Stevenson, Ala., Mrs. Frances McCarty of LaFollette; sons, Virgil of Chattanooga, J.B. Nash and Eddie Boshears of LaFollette, Clarence Boshears of Springfield, Ohio, Arnold Boshears of Scottsburg, Ind.; sisters, Mrs. Bessie Parker, Mrs. Sadie Wyrick, LaFollette, Mrs. Lana Miller of Norma; brother, Bill Violet of Dayton, Ohio; 38 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Alder Springs Baptist Church. Burial was at Bakers Forge Cemetery. Roach Funeral Home was in charge.
