Amanda Whitworth Lafone, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away March 4, 2016, at the age of thirty-seven.

Amanda was born April 17, 1978 in Knoxville, Tennessee then move to Chattanooga with her family in 1987. Amanda was fast to make friends, of which she had plenty, and was quite the soccer player at Girls Preparatory School (GPS) where she graduated in 1996.

After high-school Amanda attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville, where she joined Phi-Mu Sorority and had more sisters than you could count: she even found time to make a 4.0 GPA. Amongst Amanda’s biggest achievements in life, was being a mom to two adorable little girls, Lily and Mary Lafone.

Services will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at 2:00 pm, with visitation following the service. All who loved her are welcome.
