Survivors are four sons and daughters-in-law, Walter Jr. and Florence, rural Denmark; John and Wilma, Antigo; Edwin and Diane, Rural Maribel; Herber, Hatley; Evelyn Genz, Kewaunee; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Brandt, Chilton; 19 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in- law, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catharine; two sons, Rudolph and Donald, one granddaughter; one sister and one brother.
