James Burke, 62 years of age, pioneer farmer in Burleigh county, died yesterday from pneumonia following a short illness. Burke, who was single, lived on his farm five miles southeast of the city and county. He was born in Illinois and came to this county many years ago. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. J. M. Moran of this city. Funeral services will be held Monday at the Catholic church. Rev. Father Hiltner officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.
