Mr. Wilbur Troy Goodman, 80, of Tifton, passes away Sunday, February 28, 2016, at his residence.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors. Interment followed at Tift Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Goodman was born May 5, 1935 in Tift County, where he lived most of his life. He was born to his parents, Wright and Nellie Sumner Goodman, both of whom preceded him in death. Being a self employed farmer, he loved the country life of working on the farm and quail hunting. His family, especially his grandchildren, were the center of his life.
Mr. Goodman is survived by his wife of 60 years, four sons and daughters-in-law, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a sister-in-law and her husband.
Mr. Goodman was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Denise Goodman; four brothers and two sisters.
Albritton Funeral Directors was in charge of services.
