Dr. Leslie Day was born in England and educated for the priesthood. He next took up with the prize ring in Australia and it was there that he got into trouble and served a term behind the prison bars. From Australia he went to California. There he went into the healing business in the patent medicine line. He then became a medium under the name of Kingsley, and went to Indianapolis. He was known as a spiritualist, pastor and director of the First Spiritualist church, master interpreter of all life's mystery, etc.

Mrs. Leslie Day, heralded wife of the soothsayer, has all but convinced the county officials that she is the real Mrs. Day, Davis or Kingsley, whichever may be correct.

Knew Dr. Kingsley-Chief of Police Corriston has received a letter from E. F. Barrick of El Paso, Tex., stating that he was well acquainted with Dr. Kingsley, who committed suicide here under the name of Dr. Leslie Davis, and that the Indianapolis woman claiming to be his wife was legitimately wedded to the dead clairvoyant.
